is that what you are asking me?

i watched juno in my tent last night. it is a good movie, i definitely recommend it to everyone.  i love the main character.

sitting in the coffee shop right now, about to study for my emt class in a few hours.

the weather has been a little shite as of late.  it was EXTREMELY windy last night.  i felt like i was about to be fronted by an F5 tornado. my buddy nick woke up this morning and said, "holy $#!+ you are still alive... I was afraid all night and i was in my camper, i thought this thing was going to get flipped over."  that is verbatim.

i left my campsite a couple of days ago, and came back and my secondary tent was moved 15 to the left and restaked.  i was pretty confused.  after investigation, and multiple firsthand accounts, i found that my tent was tossed "30 feet" "35 feet" "20 feet"  into the air like a kite, then it flew about half a mile, "all the way to the highway".  about four people tackled it, brought it back, and restaked it.  i was super grateful.  oh and this homeless guy skip, assured me that he was the one who put rocks in it "because the same shit was just gonna happen again". hmm.  thanks skip.  homeless homie is lookin out.

today is / was a rest day.  so i slept in, met nick in his camper, i made some buttermilk pancakes, and nick whipped up the eggs, and some bacon. that along with some Peet's coffee and american spirit tobacco, made the rest day feel pretty righteous.

charlie left town, in an attempt to reconcile some business back home in truckee.  that is pretty unfortunate, because he was a really cool guy.  i hope he comes back soon to visit, as he said he is.

i think nick is going to go back to moab, utah after his next (last) paycheck from nik n' willys.
that is also unfortunate.

due to the storms, the pit campground has really really emptied out.  it now is a neighborhood comprised of only about 14 people.  and I am the only climber in a tent.  skipper, (the homeless senior citizen) is the only other person in a tent.  everyone else has campers/rvs/vans/5th wheels, or some other legitimate rig.

i got word a couple hours ago that my stoney point friend ascanio is coming up for two days of climbing starting tommorow, im looking forward to that.

ok, onto the studying.

that film definitely lacks verisimilitude.
